General Education Program Assessment
Each year, Illinois State University faculty use four rubrics for the Institutional Artifact Portfolio (IAP) to assess artifacts of student work. These four rubrics were created by ISU faculty using the 12 Goals of the General Education Program. The rubrics represent the faculty’s process for assessing the effectiveness of the General Education Program at ISU. They are meant to guide the IAP process; not the development or teaching of General Education courses at ISU.
