The Annual Update...A Closer Look

Once an assessment plan has been reviewed, revised and submitted as a part of the PRAAP process linked to program review, the degree program will be entered into the Annual Update.

The Annual Update process was developed to support the ongoing collection and reflection of assessment processes. At the end of any given seven-year program review cycle, the seven annual updates can be used to illustrate a program’s evidence-based improvements.

Of course, any program can engage in the Annual Update process as soon as they have developed and implemented an effective assessment plan.  A program is not required to wait until their review has been completed to engage in this useful process.
